In Creative Writing class we were assigned to write a story (shocking I know.) I really have never written a story before. It was pretty interesting and difficult. I am not a very good writer especially when I have to have do create it in a certain time. It wasn’t too hard to come up with characters. The ending is the easiest thing for me to create and the begging is the hardest to make. I already knew what I wanted to happen at the end. It was hard to put it down on paper (that’s a new concept) and actually create the events to get to the end. For writing a story for the first time, I think that it was pretty good. I did like when we had other people editing the papers and getting comments. They catch the mistakes that I don’t (which there was a lot of errors.) I don’t like commenting on other peoples work (selfish?) No, it’s just that I kind of feel bad (I know that sounds dumb.) I’m afraid that if I mark something down that it will be wrong and then it will be my fault that they got it wrong.~Riku~
You are a good writer! For god's sake. Don't be so negative. Anyway, I understand some of your difficulties. It is hard to flesh out the characters and make them seem like real people.

ReplyDeleteI have the same problems when I write - mainly the getting it on paper. Let's just say I have 3 novels in my head that are kinda floating there till I figure out what to do with them.
